Job Description:

 DETAILS:

• All positions are subject to adequate enrollment and are temporary summer positions
• No fringe benefits
• Program location:  Affton Early Childhood Center
• Positions needed for 4 preschool-age camps
• Summer School employment is a commitment to work all days in the program

 
TIME FRAME:
Tentative program dates:
Session 1 ->  June 2 – 13, 2025
Session 2 ->  June 16 – 27, 2025 (Not in session on June 19th)
Session 3 ->  June 30 – July 11, 2025 (Not in session on July 4th)
Session 4 ->  July 14 – 25, 2025

• Program is 8 weeks (4 sessions of two weeks)
• Preschoolers will be in session daily from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Teachers work Monday - Friday, 5 hours/day (Total stipend is $1,512 per 10-day session or $1,372 per 9-day session)
• Position also works equivalent of 4 hrs/session, for pre/post program preparation
• Juneteenth on June 19th is a non-work/school day
• Dates may be adjusted by administration as needed
• Summer ECE pay dates are TBD

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and appropriate Missouri teaching certification required
