OPEN POSITION: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES
START DATE: 2025-2026 School Year - July 1, 2025
STARTING SALARY: $117,767 annually
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Executive Director of Facilities is responsible for the overall management, operations, and maintenance of all district facilities, ensuring they align with the District’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plans (CSIP) and meet the needs of students, staff, and the community. This position involves overseeing safety and security programs, managing facility maintenance, coordinating capital improvement projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing staff and budgets, and integrating stakeholder input to continuously improve District facilities. The Director works closely with the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent of Operations, school district administrators, external contractors, and the community to provide a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for all school operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Teaching certificate and/or Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, Business Administration, Management, or other related field required. Additional graduate study beyond the degree is highly desirable.
- Three years of successful experience in supervisory roles or administration.
- Considerable knowledge of school administration, school law, finance, facilities, procurement, planning, operational principles and techniques.
- Experience in school district or large facility management is preferred.
- Progressively responsible experience with administration and/or supervision in a school district setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license required with reliable transportation to travel throughout the District and surrounding areas
