St. John Vianney High School is seeking an Assistant Principal for Academics for the 2025-26 school year. This Assistant Principal will join a dedicated team of Educators committed to forming young men for spiritual, academic, and personal excellence.

St. John Vianney High School is a private, all-male college preparatory school in the Catholic, Marianist tradition. Located on thirty-seven acres in Kirkwood, Missouri, Vianney serves over 560 young men in grades nine through twelve. The Assistant Principal for Academics is a key member of the school’s leadership team, guiding the academic program in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. This position reports to the school’s Principal.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Foster and promote a strong Catholic, Marianist charism across all aspects of the school community
• Collaborate with the leadership team, faculty, and staff to ensure the fulfillment of the school’s mission
• Serve as an instructional leader focused on enhancing student learning outcomes
• Support alignment between faculty and Student Services to optimize student success
• Guide and support faculty development through professional learning opportunities
• Oversee the management of college credit and dual enrollment courses, the AP Program, the A+ Program, and federal funding sources
• Lead the creation and implementation of the master schedule
• Direct and oversee the school’s accreditation process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• A minimum of three years of teaching
• Master’s Degree in Education/Leadership/Administration preferred
