Flyers Club Site-Supervisor (School Age Care Before and After School)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Flyers Club Site-Supervisor (School Age Care Before and After School)
- Full-time position, 40 hours/week
- Schedule Monday-Friday, to follow school calendar (10 months)
- Hours: 6:15-9 a.m and 3-6 p.m. with flexible administrative hours during the day
- Additional hours for early release days and school’s out days
- Pay Rate: $18.91/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementation of the current lesson plan, verbal or written plan
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming, compassionate climate
- Maintains a clean, safe, organized and orderly environment
- Aware of and reports all broken equipment and unsafe situations
- Models respect and caring in relationships with children, parents, families, and colleagues
- Utilize positive strategies to guide children’s social behavior
- Responsible for assimilating data from a variety of sources in planning for each child
- Responsible for communicating to parents and families verbally and helping with newsletters
- Create lesson plans, set-up room environment, order and rotate materials
- Administer medication and records in accordance with department and district policies
- Keeps accurate data and attendance on each child
- Ensure excellent customer service to parents by resolving issues
- Maintains confidential environment at all times
- Greets families and build partnerships with parents and families
- Track and fill staff call-ins/absences using a pool of substitutes and/or adjusting staff hours
- Responsible for the on-site training and supervision of new staff members
- Create and maintain sub files with all accommodation plans and important information
- Monitor and report staff and other concerns to School-Age Program Manager
- Supervise all aspects of the site locations
- Ability to push or lift up to 20 lbs
- May require irregular hours: morning, daytime, and evening
- Perform duties indoors and outdoors
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Prior experience working with children within a community or school program
- Working knowledge of school-age care rules and regulations
- Prior experience managing a staff with multiple employees preferred
- Prior experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders
- 2-year degree or 60 college credits preferred
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office software applications and Google applications
