Real World Learning Coordinator - Lindbergh High School
- First Contracted Day: 7/1/25
- Salary to be determined, commensurate with experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses specialized and advanced knowledge related to teaching, learning, and public relations, using independent judgment and discretion to advance student opportunities post-high school.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with business, community, and regional partners to provide real-world learning opportunities for students, ensuring that students will graduate with the market value assets, known as Diploma +, required for opportunities and success in post-secondary experiences.
- Works with stakeholders, both internal and external, to set expectations and overcome barriers to ensure that all Lindbergh High School students have an opportunity to engage and benefit from real-world learning activities, including client-connected projects, internships, and apprenticeships.
- Develops and monitors district internship processes, including placement and evaluation of students in those experiences. Mentors and coaches students as necessary to support student success.
- Coaches students on communication and workplace readiness skills.
- Coordinates ongoing and effective student experiences through community outreach including, but not limited to the Career Advisory Council, the Lindbergh Schools Foundation, and Workforce Development partnerships.
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports data of internships, apprenticeships, and client-connected projects as well as post-graduate certifications and experience.
- Support Career Technical Education programming to grow student opportunities and track participation.
- Other duties as assigned that support the Real World Learning Design and Plan initiative.
- Bachelor's degree in an area of education and/or business/marketing required
- Proven expertise in workforce development
- Ability to network with business partners
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with community members, educators, students, and administrators
