Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction- Poplar Bluff R-I School District

Poplar Bluff is a community of over 16,000 residents located in Butler County and is often referred to as the “Gateway to the Ozarks”. The Poplar Bluff School District is comprised of 11 campuses and is home to over 5,200 students, 400 certified staff, and 300 support staff. The Poplar Bluff R-I Mission Statement is “Achieving Excellence Through Learning: Every Child, Every Hour, Every Day.”
Position Overview:
The Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum/Instruction is a senior leadership position within the Poplar Bluff R-I School District. The Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum/Instruction plays a critical leadership role in shaping the instructional programming and educational experience for all students spanning preschool through post-secondary. This position collaborates with all Central Office Administrators, District Supervisors, Building Principals, and Instructional Staff to recommend and make final decisions in all matters regarding curriculum and instruction.

Qualifications:
- Superintendent Certification
- Specialist or Doctorate of Educational Administration
- Employment terms covering compensation, benefits, and working conditions are specified by the Board of Education’s policies, procedures, and agreements.
- 12-month contract
- Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary Range: $115,000-$124,00

- Anticipated Hire Date is January 16, 2025
