Qualifications:
   Applicant must hold a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling, as well as a DESE Guidance and Counselor certificate for Grades K-1.

Job Requirements:
   Expectations for this position include the ability to effectively implement the Primary School guidance curriculum, such as conducting learning activities in the classroom; to counsel and/or be a resource for small groups and individuals experiencing educational, emotional, or environmental issues; to meet with teachers, staff, and parents regarding the developmental needs of students; to oversee educational assessments, and to assist with new student enrollment and student records, just to name a few.  Effective communication is of upmost importance.  Applicant must also be able to perform all duties of an elementary school counselor, as noted in the attached Job Description.
