Job Description:
Confluence Academy Campuses in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Kindergarten-2nd grade teachers for the 2011-2012 school year.
Responsibilities include:
-Communicating knowledge to students in an interesting, stimulating, and effective manner.
-Uses a variety of instructional methodologies and curriculum resources to present material to students.
-Works as a team member, sharing common planning, professional development, curriculum design, and teaching responsibilities.
-Administers different forms of student assessments, communicate with parents and other team members about student progress, and plan for further instruction.
-Reflects about one's own practice and acts as a coach for their team members when necessary.
-Integrates technology into his/her teaching and professional activities.
Requirement
-Must meet highly qualified teacher definition under No Child Left Behind act
-BA/BS Degree
-Previous experience teaching primary grades preferred
-Full MO state initial/professional certification
-General subject area proficiency
