Job Description:
The Derrick Thomas Academy is currently looking to hire substitute teachers immediately.



The Derrick Thomas Academy has designed an absorbing curriculum that is built on classic liberal arts traditions while fully integration the demands of the 21st century.

Requirements:

  • Must have valid certificate or proof of eligibility.

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Specific knowledge of subject assigned. Familiarity with urban public school systems.

  • Must be able to work cooperatively with all members of the staff and communicate effectively with parents.

  • Previous teaching experience preferred or other work with children. Previous work (professional) references.

  • Must have current authorization to work in the U.S.
