Job Description:
Imagine Academy of Environmental Science and Mathematics is a successful charter school. This school was founded in 2007 by Imagine Schools. The school's charter authorizer is Missouri Baptist University. Today, ESM has a sustained enrollment of 1300+ students, kindergarten through 8th grade.
ESM seeks to hire substitute teachers that meet the criteria listed below. Interviews for these positions will start immediately and continue until the ideal candidates are hired.
The ideal candidates for these positions should possess the following:
1. Have successfully completed sixty credit hours or more from an accredited university
2. Successful experience with teaching and/or working with elementary age students
3. Respect and value for human diversity
4. Effective interpersonal skills
5. The ability to pass a fingerprinting and criminal background check to ensure student safety
6. Knowledge of effective, student-respectful, non-demeaning classroom management strategies
7. Exhibition of professional flexibility, adaptability and intuitiveness
